Comments: Sorry for the long wait. Life has been busier than the usual and I was sick for a couple of days so it took me time to finish this. Also, due to unexpected circumstances, I've decided to make this story into three chapters, which means this is not the end. Thanks to those who have read and commented on this story. Your reviews means a lot to me.

Shiroyama Yuu|
Kouyou stared at the blinking cursor in the search bar and sighed. He had been in front of his laptop for a good fifteen minutes now and he had been indecisive whether he should search for Shiroyama Yuu on Facebook or not. He wasn't interested in the waiter... Okay, that was probably a lie. He was definitely interested in him, which was the reason why he had been thinking about him ever since he got home from Ristorante Hamasaki, why he couldn't stop looking at the picture Akira had tagged him with on Facebook and why he had this strong urge to look him up on the famous social networking site.
His index finger slightly caressed the 'Enter' button and he questioned himself once more, 'What was the use of looking for him in a damn site when the other man clearly didn't like him and they would never see each other again?'
With a deep sigh, he tore his hands away from the keyboard and laid back on his chair. He was acting like a stupid schoolgirl with a crush and he should totally stop. He was just wasting his time and was probably looking for damn reason to hurt himself. He was no masochist and these days, with his work piled up and with lots of personal affairs that he needed to fix, pining for a straight man was not a good idea.
Shaking his head, he suddenly tapped the 'Enter' button and eagerly waited for the results. Yes, it was idiotic of him to do that, but there was no use arguing with himself when he was curious as hell. After five seconds, the results finally appeared and not much to his surprise, there was almost a hundred people named Shiroyama Yuu on his screen.
-----
Yuu could not sleep well that night. He twisted and turned on his bed and he kept on thinking of a certain brunet that he met today. He had no idea why he couldn't stop thinking about the beautiful man named Kouyou, why he couldn’t get his mesmerizing, auburn orbs and his pink, luscious lips out of his mind. But whatever the reason was, he knew it wasn't good. He knew that for a straight man like him, thinking of another man was not normal. Not frigging normal at all.
He rolled on his back and gazed blankly at the ceiling. He tried to think of other things, like accepting Ruki's invitation to go to his hometown this coming summer, his last girlfriend that he dumped because he wasn’t happy with her anymore, but all his mind fed him were images of a face that belonged to a man who was the most gorgeous person he had ever seen. “This is ridiculous.” He grumbled to himself and fought the urge to smash his head on the nearest wall. He was not gay. He was straight for fuck's sake but why did he feel as if he was in-love with a woman? That just didn't make any sense. He didn’t like Kouyou, but why couldn’t he stop thinking about him?
Rolling to his side once more, he covered his face with a pillow and closed his eyes shut, futilely eliminating all thoughts of the beautiful brunet..
-----
Three days after Kouyou met Shiroyama Yuu, he still couldn't get him out of his mind. He couldn’t stop thinking of his shiny, jet black hair, of his piercing raven orbs, of his plush lips and the sexy lip ring that adorned it. Usually, it took him two days to get over a guy he knew he couldn't have but he was still not over the handsome waiter and he was worried because he probably had it bad for him.
He took a deep breath and lazily leaned back on his chair. He was still at work and he only had an hour left before he finished. He was exhausted, mentally and physically, and he could totally use a good meal or better yet, a few shots of vodka. With all the stress he had been suffering from these past few days, he needed a drink or an outlet to release all this unwanted tension inside him. Maybe if he got sober, or better yet, drunk, he could finally sleep peacefully.
Fishing his phone out of his coat's pocket, he sighed and held the slim piece of device in his hands, thinking of calling a few friends to ask them out for a drink. He pressed the home button and the picture of him, together with Shiroyama Yuu, greeted his tired eyes. He had been using the said photograph as his screensaver since yesterday and Akira, who had seen it in his phone had a field day teasing him about it. Of course he felt shy letting people knew that he liked someone, but denying it was useless at this point.
His deep, chocolate orbs raked over the perfect visage of Shiroyama Yuu and for the umpteenth time he found himself breathless at the perfection of the charismatic raven. He was caught mesmerized at how those full, steel-adorned lips curved up in a captivating smile that he could stare and marvel at all day. Shiroyama Yuu was truly perfect in every way and he wished he could have him. If not, he wished he could have a chance to see him again.
Letting out a sigh, his thumb glided over the home button of his touch screen phone . He was about to unlock it when it suddenly rang and a close friend's name flashed on the screen. He quickly tapped the 'answer' button and brought the phone in his ear. "Kai."
A cheerful laugh was heard from the other line. "Are you busy?" A familiar and infectiously joyful voice asked with enthusiasm.
A wide smile curved up his lips. Kai was one of his closest friends and they used to be lovers during their university years. They broke up after graduation and had agreed to remain friends. There were no hard or bitter feelings between them and their frequent hanging out was one proof of that. "No. I'll be done in an hour. Where do you wanna go?" He happily asked, relieved that he didn’t have to look for people he could go out with.
"You decide. I just want to eat something Italian." His friend eagerly replied.
Kouyou immediately thought of the handsome waiter and contemplated on suggesting Ristorante Hamasaki, but he promised himself that he would never go there again. He was already having a hard time forgetting him, going there and seeing him would only give him false hopes. He chewed on his bottom lip, thinking of other Italian restaurants he had tried before but he kept on thinking back to the time when he first tasted Ristorante Hamasaki's Ravioli and Mortadella and when he first laid eyes on the most fascinating man he had ever seen. Closing his eyes, he took another deep breath as his skin tingled in excitement, surrendering to the little voice that kept nagging him inside his head. "I know a good place."
-----
Three days after Yuu met the man named Kouyou, he still couldn't get him out of his head and to make things worse, he had dreamed of him once and that dream was nowhere near decent. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't forget his beauty, his deep, chestnut orbs and his plush lips that made him feel hungry for some unholy reason. He kept on remembering how his skin felt under his fingers and his scent that reminded him of a beautiful garden in spring. It seemed that everything about him yearned for the gorgeous brunet and it scared the shit out of him.
He shuddered as a cold chill ran down his spine. Maybe Ruki was right. Maybe he liked the gorgeous man, liked him enough to lose sleep over him, liked him enough to allow him to occupy his every thought, liked him enough to have dreams of kissing those luscious lips and wrapping his arms around that slim waist because seriously, if he disliked the other man, then why the hell would he act like a lovesick fool and have intimate dreams of him? A rough growl escaped him as he shoved those thoughts off of his mind. He was currently at work and it would be embarrassing to sport a deep blush, or worse, a hard on while serving customers.
"You groan a lot these days." Ruki casually stated while looking pointedly at him. He had forgotten that his blond co-worker was at the counter with him and was probably watching him act like an idiot as he fantasized over an alluring man who looked prettier than a woman when he was supposed to be frigging straight.
He glared at his co-worker. He didn't know what to say so he just stayed silent.
The blond grinned teasingly and leaned over with one elbow propped on the table. "You're still thinking about that beautiful brunet, aren't you?"
Yuu's lips twitched. Ruki really liked teasing him, but the blond was the only one he could actually tell his real feelings to. He was open-minded and even though he could be a pain in the ass sometimes, he could also be a good listener and adviser. With a defeated sigh, he began to look at his friend with distress. "I think I've turned gay." He confessed. There was no use being in denial when Ruki already saw through him.
The blond's brown eyes flickered further in excitement. "I knew it!" He squealed in joy as if he had just won the lottery. “Haha! I knew it!”
"Why the hell are you excited? You should be worried 'coz I'm straight and all of a sudden I'm having these strange feelings and thoughts for another man!" He shot back, his death glare back in his raven orbs. He just couldn’t understand why his friend was happy about his current predicament.
Ruki chuckled and playfully slapped Yuu on the shoulder. "You know, admitting that you're gay for that brunet is the best thing you've done so far."
"How could you say that when I am straight! This is wrong!"
"There’s nothing wrong with it, Yuu. It’s okay. You just realized that you are exclusively gay for him." The blond happily shot back.
He gawked at his friend. Exclusively gay? Really? REALLY? Was that even possible?
A proud smile took over the blond's features as he crossed his arms over his chest and shook his head knowingly. “And besides, you've already admitted it. You said you think you've turned gay and you are so right, Yuu.”
Yuu had no idea how long he gazed at his co-worker with his eyes wide open and his mouth gaping like a fish out of water, but he knew he looked embarrassing and Ruki was probably having a great time seeing him in his time of utter idiocy. He shook his head, snapping himself out of his reverie and looked once more at the golden-haired male. “Aren't you worried? Scared? Don't you find this strange? Weird? Stupid? I used to be straight before I met that man!”
Ruki took a deep breath, his brown eyes gazing at him with understanding. “Look, I understand how you feel right now. You're confused because you've never liked a guy before, but believe me, these things happen. Just accept that realization and choose whether you want to forget about him or act on your feelings.”
Dark orbs stared at Ruki, still tainted with confusion. Yuu was already aware of his feelings, but he had no idea what to do with them. He slowly looked to the floor and mumbled. “I tried to forget him, but I... I can't.” He took a deep breath and rubbed his forehead in agitation. “This sounds crazy but I really want to see him again.”
Ruki was quiet for a moment and was just looking at the raven, his chestnut saucers still gleaming with concern and endless understanding. “What would you do if you see him again?” He quietly asked.
The raven blinked. He had never really thought of that. He just really wanted to see that gorgeous brunet again. He had never given a thought if he would even have the courage to approach and talk to him. “I've... never... really thought of that.” He stuttered.
“Well, now is a good time to think.” His blond co-worker replied with a grin as he pointed his gaze and a finger towards the entrance.
He quickly spun around and in an instant, his heart began playing a frantic beat in his chest and his eyes were wide in shock for there, standing at the door of the restaurant was the beautiful brunet he had been yearning to see.
-----
Kouyou was nervous while they were on their way to Ristorante Hamasaki, which Kai, had noticed. Luckily, the other brunet was understanding of him and didn't ask anymore questions when he just said that he was feeling cold. Spring was about to end and if anything, summer could already be felt in Japan. It was so obvious that he was hiding something. Nonetheless, they talked along the way, which somehow made him calm and gave him more time to organize his scrambled thoughts. But when they finally arrived in front of the restaurant, his heart began beating like a jackhammer in his chest again and he suddenly wanted to throw up. He couldn't understand why he was this nervous. He had been interested in other men before, but his heart had never fluttered like this.
Taking a deep breath, he smiled at Kai and pulled him towards the entrance. The cold breeze of the air conditioner inside the cozy-looking place made his hair stand on end and he felt blood completely drained his face when his eyes flitted towards the counter and the image of Shiroyama Yuu's impeccable back greeted him. Feeling a little panicked, he quickly held on to Kai's arm and dragged him towards one of the tables located near the windows, hoping that the raven wouldn’t have any negative thoughts of his second visit in the restaurant.
-----
Crushed.
If there was one thing to describe Yuu, that would have been the perfect word. He was happy when he saw the beautiful brunet walk in their restaurant again. He somehow felt that the heavy weight on his shoulders were lifted and the ray of hope was finally shining down upon him, especially when he got a good look of the brunet. Kouyou was like an angel in his long, white vest, white sleeveless shirt, white pants and white, leather boots that went well with his alabaster skin and his dark, brown hair. For a moment, he thought he already knew what he wanted to do once he see him again, but his moment of utter happiness was crushed by the living accessory the brunet had in his arms.
The unknown man was almost as tall as Kouyou. He was wearing a pair of black, tight-fit pants, a maroon button-up shirt and a cool, white coat that made him look flawless. He also had this cute, sunny smile on his lips accentuated with a pair of dimples that added more to his appeal and next to the beautiful brunet, they looked perfect.
Was Yuu jealous? Well, he was... a little bit because the unkown man was being touched by the ethereal-like creature who had been torturing his mind and heart for three days. He took a deep breath, his hands turning into fists as he saw the beautiful smile the gorgeous brunet had on his rosy lips. Who is that man? Why are they together? Are they dating? Questions like that ruthlessly burned inside his head and were begging to be answered. But he should have expected that Kouyou had a lover. For a beauty like him, it was impossible for him to be single.
“Maybe he’s just a friend.” He heard Ruki say at his side with a comforting rub on his back to calm him down.
He was calm. He just felt really disappointed and as much as he didn’t want to admit, jealousy was slowly and painfully eating his heart. Taking another deep breath, he closed his eyes and tried to clear his head of any negative emotions. He had no right to get mad or get jealous because first, he was not Kouyou’s lover and second, he wasn’t even a friend of the brunet’s. He was not even an acquaintance and in the other man’s world, he was nothing but a mere waiter.
Shaking those thoughts aside once more, he took two menus from the counter and composedly walked towards the table where the brunet and his date were waiting.
-----
“Are you alright? You look pale.” Kai asked with concern as he reached out and touched Kouyou's cheek to check his temperature.
Kouyou shifted on his seat and smiled timidly. “I'm alright. I'm just a little...” Nervous. "Hungry."
Kai just looked at him with eyes that said he didn't believe a word he said and looked up at the waiter who had just approached their table.
Kouyou froze when he discovered that the waiter who would serve them was none other than Shiroyama Yuu. Nervousness completely washed over him and the next thing he knew, he was looking down at the menu the waiter had given them, purposely ignoring those endless pools of black that would’ve pulled him towards its depths if he had not looked away. Shiroyama Yuu looked more gorgeous than the last time he had seen him and he wanted nothing more than to look at the handsome raven and appreciate his perfection. But he knew he couldn't, especially when he noticed that the other man didn't seem to mind that he had come back in their establishment. Maybe Yuu had already forgotten him. He fought the urge to sigh or show any kind of disappointment. He silently took a deep breath and closed the menu. He didn't really need to look at it to know what he wanted to eat. He glanced at the gorgeous god who was standing beside their table and with a small smile that he forced to appear on his lips, he gave him his order. “I'll have a Ravioli and Mortadella, please.” Then, he looked at Kai who was still browsing at the menu, silently praying that he wasn't sweating profusely in front of Yuu and his friend.
The other brunet smiled back at him and closed the menu. “I'll have what he'll have.” He informed the raven, giving him one of his cute smiles.
Shiroyama Yuu nodded and smiled before spinning on his heels and turning his back on them. Kouyou felt a slight tinge of pain once again as he watched the other man leave . He felt stupid for going back there when he knew he wouldn't be getting anything from the guy he liked. But what could he do? His heart was stubborn no matter how hard his brain had told him that going back in that place would just frustrate him.
“That was the guy in the picture, right?” Kai suddenly asked.
He gasped and quickly looked at his friend with wide, auburn eyes.
-----
“Do you think they’re just friends?” Ruki asked when Yuu went back to the counter.
Yuu gazed at the blond and tried not to look like he wanted to murder someone. Maybe Kouyou and the mysterious guy were just friends but judging on how they looked and smiled at each other, he was thinking that maybe there was more between them. Maybe Kouyou was taken and was in love with that guy, and maybe that was a sign that he should just keep his feelings and forget the brunet, accept that he wasn’t really that straight and it was possible for him to fall for another guy.
“Maybe.” He replied as his heart ached in his chest. He knew it was ridiculous to feel so heartbroken over someone he hadn’t even talked to, but he couldn’t help it. He guessed he really liked the gorgeous brunet. “It’s alright, Ruki. I don’t really care if they’re friends or if they’re together.” He tried to put a smile on his face. “As I’ve said, I only wanted to see him again and now that I have, I can finally move on and forget him and these stupid feelings.”
Ruki was about to say something back when a chime echoed in the air, signalling that the next order was ready to be served. With a deep breath, the raven turned his back on the blond and proceeded to put the plates of food on a tray.
-----
Kouyou tried not to look away at Kai’s questioning eyes but he was feeling really uncomfortable and with a deep, shaky inhale of breath, he looked to the side and avoided the other man’s gaze. “Y-you saw the picture on Facebook?” He hesitantly asked. He should’ve known that most of his friends were probably familiar with the handsome waiter posing with him in the picture.
“Almost everyone was intrigued by that picture, you know? What makes you think I won’t be?” Kai replied with a teasing laugh.
The brunet fought the urge to blush and glared at Kai. “I didn’t bring you here to tease me.” He warned in a cold voice. Now that he was caught, he could at least stop his former lover from teasing him in front of the waiter and save himself from further embarrassment.
The other brunet grinned cheekily. “You want my opinion about him?”
“No.” He flatly replied. “He’s straight. He’s not interested in me. I just want to see him again because I’m stupid and I’m probably a masochist.”
Kai laughed, pure amusement gleaming in his black saucers. “You like him.”
“What if I do? It doesn’t really matter because once this day is over, I’m going to forget about him.” Kouyou reasoned with a small pout, earning a louder laugh from the dimpled fellow across the table because of his childish reaction.
“What made you say he doesn’t like you, Kou? I think he does.”
The brunet gaped. “Didn’t you see how he treats me? He treats me like how he usually treats customers.”
Kai stopped laughing and just smiled. He leaned towards the table to look closely at Kouyou. “That’s because you are a customer, but didn’t you see how he looks at you?”
Kouyou just stayed silent. He never really had a chance to see Shiroyama Yuu looking at him. Now that he thought about it, there never really was a moment wherein they had looked at each other directly. Speechless, he just gazed back at the other brunet, confusion glinting in his brown saucers.
“He likes you, Kou. I saw it in his eyes when I saw the picture and while you were busy pretending to be checking out the menu. Attraction was so obvious in his eyes.”
The other brunet refused to believe that. It seemed so impossible that Kai would notice such a thing when he had just seen Shiroyama Yuu personally. He rolled his eyes and released a deep sigh. “What makes you so sure about that?” He asked even though he didn’t want to drop that question.
The smile on Kai’s lips widened and his dark eyes gleamed with assurance. He was about to say something when the object of their conversation suddenly arrived with their food. Again, Kouyou pretended as if he didn’t see the waiter and all his attention were focused on Kai.
Kai was wrong. There was no way that Shiroyama Yuu liked him. To the ebony-haired man, he was just another customer that he had to serve. It was wrong for him to further dwell on his feelings and if he wanted to save himself, he had to bury those feelings for the raven, forget about him and move on.
-----
Yuu endured almost one hour of torture and stole glances from the brunet as he continued to serve other customers. He felt a little irritated, which was natural because he was being an envious prick because Kouyou and the mysterious guy he was with kept on laughing while talking. As if that wasn’t enough, the adorable man would sometimes touch the brunet’s hand or caress his cheek. He did it so often he started to think that maybe the two were really together and the sudden attraction that he felt would never be requited or known by the gorgeous male. Not that he was planning to confess, but he thought that it would probably be nice if Kouyou know how he felt, or he would return his feelings. Those thoughts made him pause from his task of wiping a previously occupied table all of a sudden.
Did he really like Kouyou?
Like him enough to actually ask him out?
His skin tingled at the thought and his heart almost exploded in his chest. They said that you’re not homosexual if you can’t imagine yourself kissing the guy or girl that you like, but the thing was he did and maybe he really liked the sexy brunet enough to actually go out with him.
Another long sigh escaped him as Yuu eyes darted towards the table where Kouyo was. The brunet was already finished with his meal and had stood up from his seat to go to the comfort room, his pristine, long, white vest flowing gloriously behind him as he walked. They would probably leave once he got back from the washroom and that made the raven sadder. He had no idea if he would see him again, but that wasn’t far off since it looked like Ristorante Hamasaki had become one of the beautiful male’s favorite restaurant. If that were to happen, then he would be somehow happy because he still had a chance to see him, but at the same time, it would also be hard for him since his chances of getting closer to Kouyo was almost zero because he was already in a relationship.
He was almost finished with his task when he someone suddenly poked him at his side. He spun around and saw Ruki looking at him with a mischievous gleam in his lively eyes.
“You know, boss is looking for someone to clean the comfort rooms.” The blond stated enthusiastically.
Yuu raised an eyebrow, suspicion filling his heart. Ruki was definitely planning something and he had an idea what it was. “I’m busy. Why don’t you do it?” He replied, his tone feigning disinterest.
Ruki rolled his eyes and took the cloth he was holding in his hand. “I’m giving you a chance, you fucking idiot! Go and grab it before he leaves! I know you don't just want to see him! You also want to talk to him, right?” He said and flashed a supportive smile.
The ebony-haired male just looked at his friend, a thousand emotions swirling madly in his chest.

Author's Note: Uh... thanks for reading and I'm sorry if I made a mistake with the number of the chapters. I thought two chapters would be enough to finish this story but I was wrong. If I tried to finish it in the second chapter, it'll be hella long, so I've decided to make it to three. Anyway, I hope you guys also liked this chapter and I'm so sorry if it sucks. T___T Please tell me what you think. Comments are LOVE. <3
