You know that part of fangirling where you look up videos of your new-loved band on Youtube and stumble upon fanservice videos? I did that today and stumbled upon the video above and now I am... A HUGE MESS OF FEELS AND FEMALE HORMONES MIXED WITH BLOOD, DROOL, SWEAT AND THIS INTENSE URGE TO WATCH A CONCERT VIDEO OF ALICE NINE. OF COURSE I WANT TO SEE HOW THEY PERFORM LIVE, BUT COME ON, WHO DOESN'T WANT TO SEE THE FANSERVICE? IT MAKES LIVES MUCH MORE FUN AND INTERESTING AND WEIRWKJWNVSIEJRWOGKLWJDLKJFKSNGJRTLJIRGLKDJGKSJDJPWOI
LIKE... LIKE I FUCKING KNEW THEY'RE HOT AND PERFECT AND STUFF, ESPECIALLY IN LIVES, BUT NOW THEY'RE A THOUSAND TIMES HOTTER AND MORE PERFECT IN MY BOOK AND JUST... UNFFF.... NNNGHHH... GAAAAAHHHH! I FEEL LIKE LINDA BLAIR DOING THE SPIDER WALK DOWN THE STAIRS RIGHT NOW BUT SINCE WE DON'T HAVE A STAIRS, I'LL JUST ROLL OVER THE FLOOR LIKE A DEFECTIVE FLOOR CLEANER AND PICK UP DUST WHILE I RAPE THE FUCKING SHIT OUT OF THIS VIDEO.
MY FEELS...
MY ALICE NINE FEELS....
MY OVARIES ARE JUST.... KEJRIOWFJKWRTUIWJRITW4INWEKFOEPIF
AND I WILL NEVER LOOK AT HIROTO AND SAGA THE SAME FUCKING WAY AGAIN!!!

25/11/12 16:00 (UTC)(Seriously, the Shou/Saga here looks so real that I don't think they were acting. I believe they very well might have actually been lovers at this point).

27/11/12 12:41 (UTC)Alice Nine was definitely a lot more GazettE-like when they first started out - check out Kowloon (Nine Heads Rodeo Show) and Yami ni Chiru Sakura for examples. (I could swear GazettE sampled a drum break from Kowloon in Defective Tragedy). Their sound started to evolve around the Rainbows single, where they moved closer to U2-style alternative rock (and, more recently, toward Queen-like theater rock). Shou's singing also underwent a dramatic change around this time - he had his tonsils removed (health issues) and started working with a vocal coach.
You're going to come across a lot of elitists in this fandom who swear their only good stuff is their early stuff and that what they've been putting out lately is TEH SUXXORZ, OMG!!111!!!!1!! (The "They've sucked ever since . . ." line varies from elitist to elitist. Some say the Vandalism album was the last time they were good, others put the cutoff at the Rainbows single). Personally? I like them better in their evolved form (though G3 - the song in the clip above - and Yami ni . . . are two of my favorite A9 songs). Especially when it comes to Shou's singing - there's some moments of his in the early EPs that make me cringe, and he's my bias!

27/11/12 20:07 (UTC)Oh, I've heard Kowloon (Nine Heads Rodeo Show) and tried to download it, but failed. I was a little surprised when I first heard it and went all 'IS THIS REALLY ALICE NINE? IS THIS REALLY SHOU SINGING?' Nonetheless, I liked it. I kinda like the difference between their old sound and how they evolved into this awesome band. XD
LOL. There will always be elitists in every fandom. But yeah, hearing them ranting the same old lines over and over again is pretty annoying. >_< I agree... when I hear Shou growl, I'm always like 'No freaking way this is Shou'. I just don't see him doing that, but he does or rather he did and that makes him even more awesome. It's amazing how beautiful his voice sounds when he sings normally and when he growls, he's just... wow.
